I know I have been MIA but I will try to update my blog with Christmas and New Years... But for now I have to tell you all a little story about Smith's.... yes the place I call home ( I mean work) anyway so about 3 weeks ago a dog come s into the store which is not very unusual I mean it most certainly was not the first one and I am sure it will not be the last. So he comes in the door heads over to the pet isle and helps himself to a bone and walks right out the front door!!! Ok ok so at the time it was hillarious..... sooooo a customer overheard us talking about it and she decided that the news should do a story about it. Channel 2 did the story first and they aired the clip of our survellence on Christmas Eve.... well it was all over from there!! Cannel 4 and 5 have both aired the clip and 13. On Christmas CNN took the footage and aired it there. We had the Today show in our store interviewing our Store director who I must say had really been a trooper! We have had morning radio shows from all over the world call and do phone interviews, it has been printed in newspapers as far as Florida and we have had people call from Ohio claiming that the dog is theirs!!! We even have had offers from people to PAY for the bone a whole $2.79!!! Can you believe this shit???? Like I said it was funny (at the time) but now it is just CRAZY!!!!! do we really not have anything better to talk about??? SO I gave in and got a puppy! Meet Porter (thanks for the name Nathan) the newest member of our Fam! He is the cutest little thing I have ever seen and I really am not a fan of little dogs but I did fall in love with him as soon as I seen him! I will post some new pics when I get a second and a half to actually do something around here! (I stole this pic from Mischa ty! ) Anyway we bought him from Tristan and Micsha and we havent even had him a week and my lovely daughter who btw thinks he is her baby fell down the stairs with him and landed on his paw, needless to say he has been lying around for the last 2 days and FINALLY today he has started to walk on it! PHEEEW! I was worried that she broke it but I think he is going to be just fine! SO look forward to seeing some new puppy pics of Porter!

Happy Turkey day!!! So on Thanksgiving we went over to my Dad's house and Teri and Jessica made a great Turkey dinner! The kids all played outside all day because for once it was a nice day! After we went over to Grandma Barb's and hung out there for awhile. The kids played and when they were good and tired we headed home to pack. Then we drove to mesquite. I really sucked at taking pictures for Thanksgiving as you can see there are none!! So Black friday me and April decided that we were going shopping! then April made her First Thanksgiving dinner and G&G O. came over and had dinner with us! (Yes Richard helped but only a little!) (and yes we are all still alive!) SO we spent the rest of the weekend relaxing, hanging out at the movies and gambeling the one thing I did get pictures of was our bowling trip! The kids had a BLAST!! And Easton freakin bowled a 142 can you believe that?? (Yes we had the bumpers up but what did you expect it was Jaedyn's first time) April was the winner with a 144 so she only beat Easton by 2 pins!!! It was great now that's all they can talk about!! Anyway the weekend went by way faster than it should have (like they always do!) and I can't wait for another one just like it!!

So today because I was feeling like my poor kids have been neglected the last few weeks while they have been off track I decided that i would take advantage of being off before the sun went down and go out and enjoy it with the kids!! We has a gr8 time! These kids are NUTZ!! (wonder where they get that from???) Poor Jaedyn is just not as old as she wants to be to hang with the boys but she does try!! Easton was probably the smallest kid there and i must say and not just because he is my son but he is pretty damn good!! Eliott is a natural sk8er which scares the hell out of me, only because he has already come acustume to hospitals and Emergency rooms, I fear what lies ahead of me with him and his broken bones! It was really nice to just hang out with my kids though... I don't get to do that as much as I should and I'm feeling pretty guilty about that!! Hopefully one day they will understand and maybe forgive me!! Jaedyn is a little camera freak!! She took sooooo many pics of herself!! Wonder where she gets that from!!!???? ;)

Ok beware these images are a little graphic... (she hates clothes! The first thing she does when she walks in the door is strips down to her underwear!) SO the other day we were having dinner and I asked the kids to look through the Wal-Mart ad and circle some of the things that they wanted Santa to bring them..... (BIG mistake!) SO Jaedyn seen a girlie guitar in the mag and tells us that she wants it. Well Eliott tells her that she is too little for this guitar and that she would not know how to play it. The next words out of her mouth made me laugh so hard I about lost my dinner!!!! She looks at us without skipping a beat and so matter of fact.. she says, "Yes I can Eliott, I AM A ROCKSTAR!!" Silly kids!!! Sometimes we take for granted our crazy kids! Eliott decided that he was going to dress himself up in Richard's pimp costume... LOL and then Easton had to give the wig a try! Wendover here we come....! My Uncle Mark turned 50 this week so we headed to Wendover for some good old fashion FUN! We didn't gamble much but we spent alot of time in the casino bar! I kept getting into trouble for taking pictures in the casino so we only got a few... How stupid that you can't take a freakin picture in the bar! It wasn't like we were on the gambling floor!! Today I miss my Mom. It has been 7 years today since she has been gone. ;( Not a day goes by that I don not think about her or miss her. Words cannot say what kind of person she was. She cared so much about other people and thier needs that she often forgot about herself. She would have done anything for me and April, no matter what it was. I miss her rockin out in her car... most of the time she didn't know the words but she would pretend (i get that from her) ! She had the biggest heart in the world and when I had Eliott he became her life. He was so little when she died that I try so hard to remind him of her everyday because I am afraid that he will forget her. I know in my heart that he will always remember her but I just want to be sure. And he thinks it's so neat that he loves to dip his fries in his ice cream like she used to! It makes me sad that Easton and Jaedyn didn't get the chance to know her. I'm sure they met her in heaven and I am sure she sent them to us! So today I just want to say Mom I miss you so much and if I would give anything for just one more day with you. I know that I will see you again one day and that gives me some kind of peace. I love you Mom!!!!

I had this brilliant idea to head up to American Fork Canyon and roast some hot dogs and take pics in the fall leaves! Well first of all there isnt a single store open on the way up to American fork Canyon so we had to go into Lehi (1 hour off course cuz Richard and I got lost) so the we head up and the leaves are really pretty as your heading up the canyon but the further you get the less and less of the leaves are actually on the trees! But we did get some pics (my camera took the worst pics ever. )I still don't know why, but alot of the pics were blurry but these were the best ones I thought!! And it was kinda nice to smell a campfire again!! i am going to miss that this winter!

#1..... The first thing that you might not know about me is that I LOVE to sing!!!! Oh yes in the shower tra la la la. When i am driving in my car (alone) I have the radio up sO loud and I just sing away. The truly sad part about this is that I actually think that I sound good and I often daydream about being on American Idol!! (stop laughing now I think I am too old for it anyway!)
#2..... I am obsessed with reality t.v. This is also very sad because at times I also wish that I were some stupid idiot baring it all in front of millions of Americans!! IE... Real world, Survivor, Biggest Loser, A Shot at Love, Rock of Love, Love of Money and the new Charm School! (sad sad life!!)
#3.....I HATE GROCERY SHOPPING!!!! Not only because I work in a grocery store but ever since I was a little kid I can remember begging my mom to let me stay in the car while she shopped! (something is definetly wrong with me, girls love shopping!) Maybe it is because I think grocery shopping is a small form of tourture or that it is a big fat waste of money because as soon as I bring it in the door the kids are gobbeling it all up!!!!
#4.....I think that I am WAY cooler than I really am!!! LOL oh come on I think we all do!!! I took my teenage cousin out to dinner a few months ago and the entire nite she kept telling me how UNCOOL I was.... and then we went to the movie and she seen some of her friends and she totally didn't want to be seen with me!!! RUDE! Example 2 I volunteer at my boys' school twice a month and when I went into Eliott's class he acted like he didn't even know me!!!! RUDER!!! (Is that a word?) And the last example (although I'm sure I could come up with alot more) my 10 year old decided that it was time he got a REAL skateboard.... I didn't know there was such a thing. Of course his came from Wal-Mart (i hate even typing that word) but it's still a skateboard. Well apparently it is not! So to the Mall we go ( I hate the Mall) and 85 dollars later he now has a real skateboard and if anybody has shopped for a REAL skateboard that is actually pretty cheap! (I checked!!)
#5......I love stuffed Animals!! I know this is sooooo childish but it is so true!! I have a ton of stuffed animals and so do my kids! My Grandparents gave me a bear the day I was born and I called him boo boo bear and I still have him!! He plays the Brahms Lullyby and when I get sad I still sleep with him! ( Stop laughing!! )
#6.....I am a FREAK! (not that kind of freak... well maybe a little but I won't go into detail!) I rotate clean clothes!... I know this sounds more like borderline crazy but when I fold and put away laundry I rotate all the clothes in the closet and in the drawers. Mainly my kids' clothes because that way they arent wearing the same thing over and over again so I put the clean clothes in the back of the closet and then we always pull from the front, same with the drawers I put the clean clothes on the bottom and take from the top. I also have all thier clothes in the closets hung in order and on certain colored hangers i.e. the pants all go together, the sweatshits, the long sleeved t's, the short sleeve t's and tanks! (am I alone on this one?????)

Okay it has been awhile and this time I am truley just looking out for those that I love ok ready? WTF is up with those stupid little stickers on the rear windshield of all the MAV's have?(if u don't know what a MAV is I will tell ya later) Tell me one reason why in the world you would stick a sticker for ALL to see that shows just excatlly what we parents are trying to protect. Example If I where that retarded I would have a Mom sticker a Dad Sticker and Two boy stickers and a sweet little girl sticker, so now if you are a murderer or a rapist whateve.. you now know how many people live in my home and that I do not own a dog (cuz there is no Dog sticker) and so if you felt like killing or raping me or anyone in my family then you would just follow me until I made it home and now you know where I live..... Are we really that stupid people I mean come on do we really need to make it easier for the wierdy beardy people to commit awful crimes???? That's okay because at first I was mad thinking I finally had 2 WHOLE hours all to myself but then i relized that she needed me and that made me so happy because the boys just got out of the car and waved good bye so it was kinda nice to have her want me to stay instead!

So yes we are already setting up our Halloween Isle at work! (Moan now) Let me just say how excited I am about this! This means LONG days at work until it is all finished. So.... here is where I will offer some advise to all you stupid idiot people... READY.... If you see me working and you see 1,000,000 boxes EVERYWHERE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT try to push your shopping cart down the isle so you can "check out" half the stuff that we have already put out. You don't even know how fusterating this is. Every time I turn aroud here comes some lady and her six children who feel the need to pick up anything that makes a noise or lights up and drag it down the isle. And yes of course just leave it there. HELLO... STOP!!!! PLEASE for the love of God just freakin wait until the isle is complete and you can actually get a freakin shopping cart through there before you bring your six children down the isle to MESS it up so that 5 minuets after you walk away I can go clean up after you! Thanks so much that would really help us out!!!! All I have to say is WTF grrrrr!!!

So at work we take our breaks out front to the side of the building.(Smoker's corner!)And every now and then, more often than not we will have some wierdy beardy who will stroll on over and ask if we have an extra cigarette. This amazes me because let's face it we are no longer 15 and bumming smokes come on if you can't afford to smoke, quit!And who in the world has EXTRA anything?? And it is one thing to ask somebody you know but to ask a total stranger...WTF. So I then have to lamely reply that the cigarette in my mouth is my last one. And then they stick aroud anyway and tell you thier whole life story and the whole time your thinking "how the hell am I going to get out of this" and just when you thought you were doomed forever somebody comes outside to find you because they need your help!!! And you say to yourself, "That was a close one!" Oh come on you know we have all been there before WTF!!!

Ok i am back so watch out cuz i have like a million pics!! So i was "temporarily out of service" for a bit and let me just elaborate! So the computer was acting a little FuNkEd up and i kept tellin Richard cuz he's like to computer whiz right! Well the keyboard was typin g all backwards and stuff and so he decides that we have a vIrUs! Ok so he deletes the eNtIrE hard drive and tries to re-boot..... well the keys are still all FuNkEd up and I kept telling him, "Maybe we just need a new keyboard honey dearest." But of course I know nothing about computers so...... he brings home a new keyboard anyway. (Probably trying to prove me wrong! Lol) And wala!!! Jokes on him cuz here I am! Long time no type! Every year for Richard's Birthday we go camping! This year we spent a very eventful week up in starvation at our property. Steph and Nathan brought thier four wheelers and the kids could not get enough! The boat was fun... for a minute! Lol we don't have the best of luck with old blue! Me and April decided to take the kids out for some tubing fun and of course the boat broke down on us! This was of course after Steph fell on the gas cap of the boat and had to be taken to the hospital to get stiches in her knee! But all in all it was GOOD times and we were so glad that we had lots of guest this year!

We went to Lagoon for Richard's companys' Lagoon day! It was free(which is aloways nice) and they have a lunch and a raffle. It is actually really nice and this year my sis was here so she came with us! Good times! This was Jaedyn's first year ever at Lagoon and she is alittle dare devil! First Day of 1rst Grade!! I can't believe he is in 1rst grade now! (all day is sure nice though!) He was so excited for the first day of school. We went the day before and met his teacher and found his desk and where the bus picks him up and I think he was a little nervous about this new school and being there all day! I had to work on his first day but Richard drove them to school to make sure he was ok (and Easton was ok too! lol) When he got home from school and I asked him how his first day of 1rst grade was he said it was fine but it was so LOOOOONG! Poor 1rst graders just not used to being there all day!

Last night Steph and I went to the gym and let's just face it I am not the world's smallest person so I'm pretty sure that there are some people who are thinking look at the fat girl, but I don't care. What I cannot stand is the 20 year old girls who have not had kids and they have these cute perfect bodies and they are always complaining that they are sooooo fat! SHUT UP skinny bitch! Okay so I work in a grocery store as most know and I just have to let something off my chest about how annoying people can be... If you are these people please STOP!So 90 percent of my day I am out on the floor stocking the shelves or facing them and 99 percent of the time I am wearing a bright RED shirt that says "SMITH'S" the sleeve and let's not forget to mention that I am also requires to wear a name badge that in bright red reads "SMITH'S" and then is followed by my name AND how long I have worked for the company. So Eliott is doing better now, as of right this moment he is eating ramen noodles!!!! YA!!! I am excited about this because for 10 days now he has not eaten. And for those who know Eliott this is a big deal because he is my big eater! I think that he has probably lost 20 lbs. I was getting really worried but I think he finally has his appetite back so for the most part he is getting better, slowly but surely! We will go see the Dr. on Wednesday and I'm sure soon he will be back to his old self!

A Weekend In Starvation!

So this weekend we packed up a few things (a few ha ya right!) and headed to our property in Dushene to go camping. Our property sits a few miles off Starvation Lake so we like to go up every few weeks and hang out it's fun! The kids had a great time except for the millions and I am not exxagerating here, millions of mesquitos. I could not believe how many there were! We were being taken over by mesqitos.....(Twilight Zone music is now playing......!) So we headed for the beach for a little R&R and some mud fightin for the kids! Then we hung out by the fire for awhile and went to bed! The next day we headed down to the lake for a few hours and then we pac

ked up and came home! It was a nice little getaway!

Okay so first Eliott seems to be improving! We have figured out a way for him to take his horse pills (crushing them and putting them in yogurt BLAH!) but he takes them and that is all that matters! So he has kinda been arguing with Easton today, another sign that he is on the road to recovery! He still has not eaten anything except yogurt but plenty of fluids so we will see!
Next I have noticed as I have been blog stalking that most blogs are full of just words... which is fine for some people but I usually don't have much to say but I love pictures (If u couldn't already tell) and so you might not find as much text on my blog as others but you will find some of the cutest pictures of the cutest kids in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!!!

Just wanted to update about Eliott it has only been a few hours but already he has improved! He is again fighting and arguing with his brother end sister and has not laid on couch all day!! He has gotten plenty of rest but seems to be ok now. The pharmacy I went to did not have the right perscription for him. He has a hard time swollowing pills and so the dr. gave him the liquid form but they were all out so we got pills and let me tell you how much fun that has been it is almost time for his last dose today so I am going to get ready for work and leave that one to Richard!

Eliott so Sick!!

So we just got home from Primary Children's Hospital. As most know Eliott had Strept throat. On Friday he began to feel sick. Thurs. morn he complained of a sore neck and i just thought he slept on it wrong. Sat he began to run a fever so I took him to the InstaCare where they diagnosed him with Strept and gave him a shot of Penicillin in his butt!(Took me and three nurses to hold this kid down for that!) So we brought him home and thought that he would start feeling better. Well we thought wrong, by Mon morn he was not getting any better and he still had a very high fever. I called the InstaCare who told me to wait until it had been 72 hours since his shot. So I waited until Tues afternoon and called again. After listening to him cry all day and him still having a fever I knew something was wrong. His neck was so swollen and his breath was the most horrible smell ever! Steph suggested I call the InstaCare back even though it had not been 72 hours, so I did and they suggested I take him to the Hospital. So after they started an I.V. because he was dehydrated and the cat scan to rule out an abscess they finally decided that he had a mild case of mono, strept and tonsillitis. So needless to say he is still feeling really crappy and all day he is complaining that he is hot so he has taken 3 cold showers today! I hope that he is feeling better soon and I will keep you posted!

We spent the day at the lake today and it was so relaxing! We used to do this all the time but we haven't lately and I am so glad that we decided to! The kids had alot of fun(except poor Eliott who has strept throat!) The water was cold at first but once you got used to it, it felt nice! I got alot of sun! (so did Charity, how's your arms!) All in all it was a great relaxing day at the lake and one we will have to do again soon!!!!
